Options Theatre Company receives $50,000 Grant
Options Theatre Company was very fortunate to receive a $50,000 grant from the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation in 2018. This money was used to complete the fit-out of the new performance and rehearsal theatre at Tuggerah.
We were able to pay for the purchase and installation of retractable seating for the performance space allowing us to put on on our very own shows. Seating up to 90 people, the seating can be compacted neatly to allow the space to be used for rehearsals and dance classes.
To thank Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation for the generous ongoing support, the Options Theatre Company ensemble put on a spectacular “Thank You’ performance which was attended by Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation Chair, Phil Neat, other special guests including Board Members and Executives from Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation as well as Branch Managers, Senior Staff and many other VIPs.
The Executive Team from Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation were very moved by the ENCORE ‘Thank You’ Performance and have decided to feature Options Theatre Company in their National Advertising Campaign.
Options Theatre Company will feature in a series of TV and Radio Ads for Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation. The ads, which were filmed recently, focus on the stories behind the scenes and behind the people at Options Theatre Company.
